what’s new around the shop….

hey everyone!! its been a while since i shared here, but wanted to take the opportunity for a BIG update on what’s been happening around the shop…

just as things were leveling off from the corona virus (everyone wants toilet paper, guns and ammo!) and things were returning to normal (backorders catching up, normal hours, normal crowds), there was another TREMENDOUS, HISTORICAL surge in demand, and continued shortages in supplies due to recent events….and for the last few weeks “lines” seem to be the “new normal”

we’ve been working tirelessly to beef up backorders, and ordering some brands we wouldn’t normally carry to make sure we have the shelves as full as possible….

currently, we still have good supplies of 9mm target loads, 5.56 ammo, ar15’s and pump shotguns, and 9mm handguns, and SAFES…. the items seemingly in the highest demand!

at this time, we aren’t limiting your purchase quantities on ammo… get as much as you like!!

we have a LARGE shipment coming this week with s&w sport 2’s (optics ready) for $659… we have loaded a few on the website if you’d like to RESERVE BEFORE THEY HIT THE LOADING DOCK here! 🙂 at checkout, you can choose free in-store pickup, or we can ship to dealer of your choice for $25

a few ((temporary)) changes in logistics…

we’ve temporarily stopped phone orders. the register crew is working hard to keep the lines IN THE STORE moving and phone orders are pulling them away from that and potentially reserving something someone has been waiting in line at the store to purchase. we hope that when supplies level out, we can add back in the convenience of being able to order on the phone.

**some items** in stock at our store are on our website, but know that our website PRIMARILY pulls from distributor inventory.

we are still requiring everyone to stop at the sanitizing station when entering the store to use the provided sanitizer before you begin shopping. we appreciate you doing that!

safe supplies are tight, but we’ve got lots in stock and more truckloads in process full of special orders and more promotional safes. the deliveries are pretty booked right now, but the delivery crew is working as fast as they can and grouping areas together (statewide!!)…. we’re holding promo prices out as long as we can!! father’s day is just around the corner and always a busy time of year for the safes…. ya know, its the one thing dad really needs but never gets around to buying for himself 🙂

silencer approvals–they’re still running 10-12 months, with a *few* slipping through the cracks a little earlier with some of the new order batching they’re trying at the nfa branch. most of the examiners are still working remotely and we’re seeing some additional delays on the approval date vs. the POSTMARK date of the application.

…i think that’s about all the updates i have for now. we appreciate your support and most recently, your patience SO MUCH!! the crew is working hard to keep everyone happy & loaded up!!
